Finding the Track Again: Lessons on Momentum from European Rail

August's theme at Createscape is momentum, and I've been thinking about momentum a lot since returning from a journey through Germany and Switzerland last week. If you've ever traveled by train through Europe, you know there's something almost meditative about the experience. You're moving at such a fast pace and covering serious ground, city to city, country to country, and yet it just feels relaxing and really effortless. No traffic, no waiting around from delays, just movement.

Coming home to Austin then hit me in the face with the heat, the inbox, the stack of tasks that patiently waited while I was gone. A first week back from a trip can feel like momentum is something you lost along the way, but I think a good reframe is that it's about finding the track again. Even if you're not ready to, you just have to keep moving forward.
