Just about everyone at Createscape knows Riki. Besides being a part of our coworking community since nearly the beginning, she also has two cute little chihuahuas who come to work with her and is Createscape’s Content Manager who writes and edits so much of the newsletter and blog content you see. This time, we’re flipping the script and doing a Q&A with her to get to know the person behind the articles.
Createscape Wildlife Identification Guide
Members love that Createscape is conveniently close to the airport and downtown. But they also appreciate being surrounded by lots of grass, trees, and plenty of room to roam. In fact, we're in a residential section of East Austin that the Chronicle once called an "inner city paradise." Thanks to the abundance of green space, neighborhood gardens, parks, tree farms and plant nurseries in the area, we get a lot of wildlife visitors. Here are some of the creatures you're likely to spot on a typical day at the office.

In this edition of our Member Q&A series, Riki interviews Dax Garner about topics such as his name origin story, his previous work with Lockheed Martin as a contractor for NASA, studying aerospace engineering, and trading in a corporate office (and then a WeWork) for a desk here at Createscape. Dax also has a very good dog named Locke, who likes to cowork as well.
Member Q&A with Chris Billig
Chris Billig works full-time for Telefund, which does fundraising work for non-profits and progressive political clients. He also works part time as the social media manager for Primetimer.com, a television news and features site. Chris has been involved in social media for years through his own personal stuff and a soccer site he founded in 2012.
