More Space for Coworking? Oh Yeah.

If you’ve been around the office lately, you know the past month we’ve been busy making a lot of improvements around Createscape. Over the past four weeks, we’ve made upgrades to the main office, Groove Room, Howdy Room, and Study Hall, including new tables and additional seating options. In the Groove Room, we redid the entry/doors of the office pods, removed the office pod deck, switched the layout of designated desks to rows of three, turned all desks 90 degrees (no more sun glares from windows!), added higher privacy dividers to the desks, and added a couch and open-seating table in the center of the room. All in all, the changes to the Groove Room have created at about 6-8 new spots. In the Howdy Room, we added table length and chairs so that the seating capacity can fit between 4-6 more. In the Study Hall, we added high-top counter tables with stools (additional seating of 4-5) in the front nook of the space that gets some nice natural lighting.

January is always on the busy side for us; and this month just happened to be our busiest month of all time for Createscape. We’ve surpassed the benchmark of having over 500 unique members since 2014. We embrace changes of all kinds around the office, and in addition to the aesthetic and functional upgrades we have been rolling out, we’re also extremely proud to have a growing and diverse community of awesome folks in the heart of East Austin.
