Finding Your Anchors in the Autumn Equinox

With the equinox yesterday, we are officially in autumn.

There’s a lot that I look forward to at this time of year. Seeing temperatures ahead below the 90 degree mark means long weekend walks will be a bit easier. Harvest produce featured at the supermarket brings back memories of trips to the local orchard. My eye is already on some of my favorite sweaters I haven’t been able to wear for months. It’s a perfect time for a natural slow-down.

Maybe that’s why grounding is the perfect focus for September at Createscape. There’s something about pulling on a favorite sweater or cooler weather when you hit the trail that just pulls you out of your head and back into your body. The feeling is hard to beat. It’s these anchors that we’re looking for this month as we settle back into post-summer rhythms.

As we settle into autumn I hope you’re finding your own anchors whether it be an intentional slow-down, taking time to enjoy the cooling air, or joining us for a great cup of coffee here.

And I hope the rest of the season gives you space to feel grounded, settled, and ready for the moments ahead.
